Rebuilt on the old park's site in Legion Memorial Park in 2020, this 14,000 sq ft park has a 5–8 ft pool-style bowl, a 4 ft mini-ramp bowl, a flow bowl with a banked spine and centre island, and a street area.

Heads up · Lights stay on until 11 p.m.; the fenced park's only entrance is on the northeast side, behind the kids' water park.

Bring

  • 1 °C → gloves until you are warm; softer wheels and tyre pressure down a touch grip better in the cold
  • Always → a helmet (required at many parks and every track), and pads for transition and dirt

How the read works

We track the water on the ground hour by hour, starting two days back. Rain adds to it; sun, wind and dry air take it away (the forecast's evaporation figure, which folds all three together); frost locks it in. Concrete sheds most of a downpour and dries in a couple of hours on a good day. Dirt soaks it up and takes a day or more, and riding it while it's mud ruts it. It's a model, not a camera: shady corners and the bottom of a bowl hold water longer. Weather from Open-Meteo.
