🇨🇦Kamloops Bike Ranch
Bike park · Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada
read at 18:00 local · weather: open-meteo
Set up in 2005 inside city limits, the Ranch has jump lines like Tombstone and Wrangler, the floodlit Corral dirt jumps, a BMX track and a new $1.3 million all-wheels pump track.
Heads up · Dirt lines need to dry after rain; a local shuttle (Mostly Mental Shuttles) has run laps to the top.

How the read works
We track the water on the ground hour by hour, starting two days back. Rain adds to it; sun, wind and dry air take it away (the forecast's evaporation figure, which folds all three together); frost locks it in. Concrete sheds most of a downpour and dries in a couple of hours on a good day. Dirt soaks it up and takes a day or more, and riding it while it's mud ruts it. It's a model, not a camera: shady corners and the bottom of a bowl hold water longer. Weather from Open-Meteo.
