A New Line Skateparks build off Sundance Road beside the town's ball diamonds, with a long snake-run bowl (hips, extensions, vert walls, pump bumps) and a street course of hubbas, stairs, handrails, a pole jam and a Euro gap.

Heads up Β· Open sunrise to sunset; watch for fly balls from the ball diamonds next door and give elk and other wildlife plenty of space.

Bring

  • 3 Β°C β†’ gloves until you are warm; softer wheels and tyre pressure down a touch grip better in the cold
  • Always β†’ a helmet (required at many parks and every track), and pads for transition and dirt
  • After dark β†’ we don't know if it's lit; bring a light

How the read works

We track the water on the ground hour by hour, starting two days back. Rain adds to it; sun, wind and dry air take it away (the forecast's evaporation figure, which folds all three together); frost locks it in. Concrete sheds most of a downpour and dries in a couple of hours on a good day. Dirt soaks it up and takes a day or more, and riding it while it's mud ruts it. It's a model, not a camera: shady corners and the bottom of a bowl hold water longer. Weather from Open-Meteo.
